Original hand crafted invitations for your simcha!
Work with calligrapher and Judaic artist, Carol Zuckman, and fabric artist, DJ McBeth, to create an original, one-of-a-kind invitation for your simcha!

Please contact Carol Zuckman 8 to 12 months before your simcha. It does take time to fit you into our schedule and to create your invitation.

The process...
  1. Meet with artists to discuss your ideas. We will help you turn your ideas into a meaningful invitation. We usually have 2 to 3 brainstorming sessions, and then we are able to create an invitation based on your ideas and dreams. We will guide you every step of the way. Ideas we discuss can be name designs, favorite quotes, themes from the Parsha.
  2. The artists get to work, and mock ups and texts are done. Paper choices and colors are decided. Then, we meet to review, and then go to print.
  3. Printing stage
  4. Hand painting and assembly - you are invited to join By Hand and Heart as we hand paint and assemble your invitations.

Price Range
Prices are based on 250 invitations, and are estimates.
Generic Monoprint design, $5.00/invite.
Generic Star design, $5.50/invite, with name $6.00/invite.
Estimates given for original, custom designs, ranging from $6 to $15 per invitation.
Price includes custom design, paper, printing, response cards, envelopes, hand painting and assembly.
