Children's Theater

The St. Paul JCC Theater Program is designed to allow youth to explore and expand their skills, both on stage and off, through musical performances. Each participant receives one-on-one training from a professional director, as well as group instruction throughout rehearsals. Each program is eight weeks in duration and culminates in final public performances.

Disney's 101 Dalmations Kids (Grades 3 - 4)
Join the dogs of London as they daringly rescue Pongo and Perdita's Dalmatian puppies from Cruella De Vil and her bumbling henchmen. This play is a family favorite that includes a delightfully fun score, lovable characters and one of the most deliciously evil villains in a Disney show!

Rehearsals: Sundays and Tuesdays beginning January 8
Performances: February 23, 25, 26
Cost: $85 JCC members only (includes t-shirt and costume expenses)

Pinocchio (Grades 5 - 8)
Old Italy comes to life in the story of a wooden puppet who yearns to become a real boy. An evocative score, colorful costumes and exotic locales - including interior of a genuine Italian whale - make this production a wild ride.

Auditions: Sunday, February 19, 1 - 3 pm and Tuesday, February 21, 6 - 8 pm
Rehearsals: Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays beginning March 4
Performances: May 3, 6
