Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Intensity Rating: *Moderate-High **High

Aerobics (floor and step)

:

*50/50 Fit- The first half of this is cardiovascular
training and the 2nd half is strength training.

*B.L.A.S.T.- This class focuses on Body Locomotion and Strength Training

Circuit Express- Circuit format of cardio and strength moves- Low to Moderate Intensity

Forever Fit- A cardio and strength class for active older adults

*Instructor’s Choice- A fusion of different cardio classes based on the Instructor’s preference

*Step & Tone- Beginning to intermediate class using a step with strength training

**Step Fit- This high intensity class uses a step, advanced choreography and a brief core component.

**Bodypump®- Original, muscle pumping barbell strength class choreographed to music

*Body Sculpt Express- Non-stop strength work with a variety of equipment

*Cardio Circuit- Circuit format of cardio & strength

**Group Cycle- Cycle class incorporating sprints and climbs.

**Kickboxing- Learn boxing moves and refine your technique while getting a great cardio workout.

Kids Fit- A fusion of Yoga and kids games to get your child moving. Parents optional. Ages 5-12

Mind Body Balance- Stretching, core, and balance movements that will leave you feeling relaxed.

Silver Sneakers® Cardio Circuit- Cardiovascular and muscular endurance workout

Sliver Sneakers® MSROM- Muscular Strength and Range of Movement- Low Intensity

Silver Sneakers® Silver Splash- A low intensity, shallow water workout for flexibility, strength, and cardio with a kickboard

Silver Sneakers® Yoga Stretch- A complete series of seated and standing yoga poses

*Zumba®- This high-energy class utilizes Latin and other international dance moves

Boot Camp- Survival of the fittest! Transform your body with this intense, minimal rest class

Easy Does It- A pool class for MS and Limited Mobility conditions. Fee based for non-members

Feldenkrais ® Method- Create body awareness through functional integration and movement

Kettlebells-
A workout focused on power and strength using Kettlebells 

Krav Maga ®- Practical techniques and realistic training in self defense

Pilates:

Mastering Pilates Mat- Work with Pilates principles to create an effective mat workout

Pilates Boot Camp- Intensified version of traditional Pilates incorporating cardio and mat work

Pilates Circuit- Circuit design utilizing various Pilates equipment

Pilates With Props- Pilates mat work enhanced with foam rollers, balls, and other equipment


Tae Kwon Do- Korean style karate, conditioning and self-defense training

Tai Chi Chih- American style of standing poses

Teen Boot Camp- Ages 13-17. Improve your speed, agility, and strength with various equipment

TRX®- Suspension strap training for total core and body resistance

Twinges-n-Hinges- Gentle exercises in the pool ideal for those with arthritis and aches and pains

Yoga:

Beginning Yoga- This starter’s yoga develops beginning skills linking breath to movement

Continuing Flow Yoga- Vinyasa flow and Hatha Yoga with dynamic sequencing

Flow Yoga-Multi-Level All levels of yoga incorporating poses and flow movements

Lunchtime Flow Yoga- Deep breathing and flowing exercises to fit into your lunch hour

Sunrise Yoga- Greet the day with flowing movements and poses- all levels
