Mother's Circle

For Mothers who are not Jewish and raising Jewish Kids
Are you a mother raising Jewish children but are not Jewish yourself? Don't do it alone!

The Mothers Circle provides FREE education and support for women of other religious backgrounds who are raising Jewish Children. This unique program begins Sunday, November 8 at 10:00am. Classes will meet once a month to focus on Jewish rituals, ethics, and the how to of create a Jewish home. Come be a part of this warm and nurturing environment and feel empowered to take on the responsibility of raising children in Judaism. Mothers in all family constellations are welcome and participants do not have to be affiliated with a Jewish institution or have any prior knowledge. This program was formed in response to the needs of women who are not Jewish but are raising Jewish children. There is respect for the participant's choice to retain her own religious identity while providing a Jewish family life for her children.

Mother's Circle Information Session

Grandparents Circle
The Grandparents Circle is a program for Jewish grandparents who have grandchildren being raised in an interfaith home. This one-of-a kind program, developed by the Jewish Outreach Institute, will help Jewish grandparents of intermarried children pass their heritage on to the next generation.

Highlights:
  • Four educational and support session offering skills, techniques and resources
  • Dates to be announced
  • Free and open to the community, pre-registration required
  • All sessions will be held at the Talmud Torah of St Paul, 768 Hamline Ave. South in St. Paul and facilitated by Rabbi Sharon Stiefel, Jewish Education Director.
