Roni Levin will bring an Israeli flavor to the entire St. Paul Jewish community for the coming year as our Shlichah (Israeli emissary), sponsored by the United Jewish Fund and Council. She will work directly with UJFC's beneficiary agencies: The St. Paul JCC, Talmud Torah of St. Paul, JCRC and Hillel at the University of Minnesota.

Roni is from Zurit Misgav, Israel. She has a BA in Political Science and Human Resources from Haifa University. She worked in the offices of the Israeli government, as a youth program director for the Misgav Regional Council, and as a training officer in the Israel Defense Force. Roni studied theater and film in high school, and will lead our Contemporary Israeli Film Series. The Shaliach program was created to strengthen the bridge between our local programming and Israeli and Jewish culture.
