STEP 1: Look at Online Resources
Online is a great place to start to begin to learn about traveling to Israel. Here are some resources we recommend:
- MASA Israel Journey: MASA enables young Jews from all over he world to spend a semester to a year on
any of over 160 programs. - Jewish Agency for Israel: The Jewish Agency for Israel's mission is to involve the world Jewry with Iraelis in sharing the future of Israeli society, connecting the next generation with Israel and Jewish people hood as a core part of Jewish identity.
- Taglit-Birthright Israel: Taglit-Birthright Israel provides free, educational, first-time trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. This program aims to send thousands of young Jewish adults from all over the world to Israel as a gift in order to strengthen the sense of solidarity among world Jewry, and to strengthen participants' personal Jewish identity and connection to the Jewish people.
- Go Israel: This is Israel's official tourism website and portal. You can find everything you wanted to know about this beautiful country.
- Wikitravel: This is a great user-generated site with tons of information on Israel and what you need to know about traveling there.
- Hillel Travel Tips: Hillel is the nations largest resource for Jewish College Students.
