Pilates Reformer

A Pilates reformer class is a great workout for any and every type of body. The reformer is a modifiable, adaptable, user-friendly piece of equipment. Focus on form and alignment to strengthen core, improve balance, increase joint stability, and improve posture. New participants have the option to complete a complimentary introductory jumpstart session with one of our Pilates reformer instructors.

FOUNDATIONS – LEVEL 1.0
Build a solid Pilates foundation in a safe and effective group experience. Learning through movement exercises on the Pilates reformer you will focus on breath, core engagement, and alignment on the Pilates reformer. This group is for all fitness levels and is easily modified for those with physical limitations. Sessions will focus on overall body awareness and symmetry. This workout will use basic exercises on the reformer to strengthen the core, increase joint stability and improve balance. Experience the benefits of a traditional Pilates routine.

STRETCH & STRENGTH – LEVEL 1.5
In this intermediate level training session on the Pilates reformer, you will build full bodied strength and mobility. Move at a moderate pace, utilizing foundational knowledge of the Pilates principles to explore both dynamic movement exercises and restorative stretches. Exercises will progress to give you a more demanding workout focusing on balance, stability, and control. Prior experience in the Foundations class is encouraged.

CORE/COORDINATION/CHALLENGE – LEVEL 2.0
Challenge your body and mind with this advanced workout in a moderate to fast paced setting. In this class, you will incorporate quick transitions between advanced reformer exercises focusing on coordination, precision, control, and balance, often performing these elements simultaneously. This group creates dynamic full body challenges and an increase in intensity can be expected to build your practice. Prior experience in the Stretch & Strength class is highly encouraged.

Group Coaching at the J

Our Group Coaching will upgrade your life by giving you the support of a coach and community. Our groups are designed to give you structure, be fun and allow you to achieve more. Small group strength and conditioning based classes led by our experienced personal trainers so you can get their coaching and expertise in a more personal setting.

You’ll love Group Coaching because – 

  • Classes are under 10 people, so you get the personal attention of a Certified Trainer, as well as a fun community of other members
  • Great for learning proper form, accountability, and reaching goals faster than on your own.
  • Progressive programming that includes strength, cardio, and mobility.
