Try a personal trainer! The St. Paul JCC’s personal trainers work with children and adults of all ages and ability levels. All of the St. Paul JCC Personal Trainers have and maintain certification through at least one of national health and fitness organization, including American Council on Exercise, American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and National Academy of Sports Medicine and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.

In addition to national certifications, many trainers have expertise in specialties—like TRX, Kettlebells and Pilates Reformer—that require additional (and often intensive) training.

Please note: personal training is only available to members of the St. Paul JCC.

Want to workout with a trainer in a fun and cost effective way? Try personal training with a friend – get the same great workout while splitting the cost between the two of you!

SMALL GROUP TRAINING:

Share the cost of a Personal Trainer with a group of 3 – 5 friends. This unique approach combines the individual attention of a one-on-one session with the energy of a group to help you reach your goals faster! Affordable and fun, small group personal training minimizes the cost per person while maximizing personal attention to form, technique, and alignment. It’s like having your own private class with your friends!

Personal Training in the Pool:

Add some splash to your workout routine. Personal training in the pool is a high resistance, low impact workout that is appropriate for all ages and abilities. No swimming experience needed but must be comfortable in the water. Gain endurance, flexibility, balance and strength. Workouts will be personalized to meet your fitness needs. Personal training rates apply.

 

FIT 4 TEENS:

The St. Paul JCC offers a Fit-4-Teens program, which teaches teens ages 13 – 15 various aspects of fitness and provides the educational tools they need to develop healthy habits. It is 2, 1-hour sessions with a certified personal trainer. This training is designed to give teens all the necessary information to exercise safely and effectively.

After satisfactory completion of this training the individual will; be able to use the Fitness Center at his or her own discretion, have an understanding of the benefits of a balanced exercise program that utilizes warm-ups, cool-downs, strength training, cardiovascular training, and flexibility/stretching techniques, know the basic overview of the bones and muscles of the body and be guided through proper technique, safety precautions, and benefits of body weight, machine, and free weight strength training exercises.

The Fit For Teens program is a benefit of membership, provided to our teen members at no charge.

 

Personal Training Special:

Purchase five or more personal training sessions and receive $25 off the total cost.

 

Membership is required to participate in personal training.

Purchase personal training tickets at the Front Desk.

Sessions scheduled by appointment only.

If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the full session price will be charged.
