Pilates Reformer

A Pilates reformer class is a great workout for any and every type of body. The reformer is a modifiable, adaptable, user-friendly piece of equipment. Focus on form and alignment to strengthen core, improve balance, increase joint stability, and improve posture. New participants must complete a complimentary introductory jumpstart session with one of our Pilates reformer instructors.

LEVEL 1.0
Ideal for clients who want a safe and effective group experience to build a solid Pilates foundation. Focus on form and alignment to help you master Pilates fundamentals and get the most out of your workout. This group is for all fitness levels, and is easily modified for those with physical limitations. Sessions will focus on overall body awareness and symmetry. This workout will use basic exercises on the reformer to strengthen core, increase joint stability and improve balance. Experience the benefits of a traditional Pilates routine.

LEVEL 1.5
Continue to build your practice with more complex movement patterns and use of equipment. Start exploring more precise and dynamic exercises. Tempo is moderate and focuses on a steady class flow. Intermediate exercises and coordinated movements are introduced, along with progressions and balance and stability challenges to give you a more demanding workout. Level 1.0 Foundational experience is encouraged.

LEVEL 2.0
An inspiring group that will challenge the body and mind. This moderate to fast paced group incorporates quick transitions and will introduce you to more advanced exercises. Focused on strength, in addition to balance and stability, this group creates dynamic challenges and an increase in intensity can be expected to build your practice. Requires more strength, stability and balance. Level 1.5 Intermediate experience is encouraged.

Group Coaching at the J

Our Group Coaching will upgrade your life by giving you the support of a coach and community. Our groups are designed to give you structure, be fun and allow you to achieve more. Small group strength and conditioning based classes led by our experienced personal trainers so you can get their coaching and expertise in a more personal setting. 

You’ll love Group Coaching because – 

  • Classes are under 10 people, so you get the personal attention of a Certified Trainer, as well as a fun community of other members
  • Great for learning proper form, accountability, and reaching goals faster than on your own.
  • Progressive programming that includes strength, cardio, and mobility.

ACTIVE
Learn just what your body can do in this foundation-level class that is committed to helping everyone make progress and get stronger. ACTIVE is a class for anyone who is ready to move and feel better and work up a sweat!

BUILD
Reach a little higher and challenge yourself with a skill-building, conditioning focus surrounded by others who are ready to cheer you on as you push the limits of your comfort zone. Gain strength, focus and a real transformation when you BUILD with us!

Please Note: Membership is required to participate in personal training, Pilates reformer, and group coaching. Sessions are by appointment only. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the full session price will be charged.
