Get fit; make waves.

Our water exercise classes are the perfect way to get a rigorous workout that’s gentle on the joints. Choose from a variety of intensities, from our Aqua Fit for Life class to the more challenging Deep Water Fitness class! Utilizing both the shallow and deep water and a variety of equipment, you can get a full body workout with low impact on your joints.

These water exercise classes are free and don’t require registration.

POOL SCHEDULE

 

Aqua Fit For Life
A fun and gentle pool class for participants. This class is great for people with arthritis, MS and limited-mobility conditions. Work on balance, gain strength and increase range of motion without putting strain on muscles and joints.

Aqua Motion
Increase your heart rate while working almost every muscle group using the resistance of the water and pool equipment in this low to no impact class.

Aqua Splash
We start off with a gentle warm up to acclimate to the warm pool temperature (86 F), increase your heart rate for a good cardio workout, transition to using various resistance equipment to strengthen muscles and conclude the class with stretching and yoga poses in the pool.  Great for those coping with shoulder, hip or knee replacement and regaining balance abilities.

Aqua Zumba®
Combines the South American Zumba rhythm and dance steps with a pool party. It offers a fun but challenging, water-based, body-toning workout. It is a great workout with less strain in your joints, using the water for resistance in the shallow end of the pool.

ASL Water Yoga
By taking the principles and poses of traditional yoga and adapting them for a gentle stretching and strengthening experience, you will feel relaxed and balanced. Taught in American Sign Language. Everyone welcome for the combination fitness / cultural / language experience

Deep Water Fitness
Hop into the deep end of fitness! This class uses a variety of exercises, from cardio to strength work, all while in the deep water. With the use of an aqua-jogger belt, your arms and legs are free to work against the water’s natural resistance.

Strength H20
Start using the pool to gain muscle, increase endurance and improve your overall health. Strength H20 is a great way to fit in your strength training with low impact movements. This course will be in both shallow and deep water.
