Art Exhibitions

gallery-walk

The St. Paul JCC’s Gallery Walk has been the home of many wonderful art exhibitions featuring local, national and international artists. Our new renovated facility includes several new exhibition spaces that will make the JCC a premier destination for Jewish arts and culture. Completion of the Cultural Arts wing is scheduled for Fall 2018.

OPENINGS – FEATURING PHOTOGRAPHS BY CATHY TOBIAS
SEPTEMBER 6 – OCTOBER 28

RECEPTION: OCTOBER 11 • 5 – 7 PM

Openings create frames from which we can look inside and see something new, sometimes unusual, and various lifestyles and stories may be revealed. They offer a glimpse of wonderment into the mysteries, opportunities, adventures, stories, invitations and lifestyles that are hidden from our view. This collection of photography, taken in 7 countries (India, Cuba, South Africa, Tanzania, Croatia, Montenegro and Israel), is grouped around doorways and windows where we can peek inside with curiosity and imagine what is happening at and behind these of these thresholds.
