Kids need to move for both physical and mental health. The JCC’s Youth Sports and Fitness programs are designed to get kids up and moving, build confidence, increase strength and inspire kids to lead healthy lifestyles.

LEAGUE READINESS CLINICS

Join in on the fun at our League Readiness Camp! During these four weeks, we will learn and practice the fundamental skills of basketball. Instruction on age appropriate shooting, dribbling, and passing skills will be taught, along with the offense and defensive schemes that will be used during league play, starting in January. Our clinics will be filled with drills and drill based games to enhance age level readiness.

LEAGUE EVALUATION DAY
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15
PRICE INCLUDED IN LEAGUE PLAY
Interested in playing on one of our teams during our League Play? Come to our Evaluation Day to be evaluated by our coaches and be placed on a team! We will put the players through a mini try-out, that will consist of age appropriate drills and scrimmages. Our goal at the end of evaluations is to put together balanced teams to provide a positive experience during our League Play. It is highly recommended that your child attends the League Readiness Camp in order to prepare for evaluations.

LEAGUE PLAY

Game On! Who’s ready to have some FUN and play in an age appropriate, semi competitive league? During these eight weeks, we will play games against other St Paul JCC  teams. All leagues will conclude with a mini tournament. League play will give the players an opportunity to showcase the age appropriate skills and offensive and defensive schemes learned in the League Readiness Camp. These eight weeks will consist of game play only, no practices.  The league practices will be conducted during the League Readiness Camp.
