Kids need to move for both physical and mental health. The JCC’s Youth Sports and Fitness programs are designed to get kids up and moving, build confidence, increase strength and inspire kids to lead healthy lifestyles.

 


FIT 4 TEENS TRAINING SESSION
The St. Paul JCC offers a Fit-4-Teens Personal Training, which teaches teens, ages 12 – 15, various aspects of fitness and provides the educational tools they need to develop healthy habits. It is a one 1-hour session with a certified personal trainer. This training is designed to give teens all the necessary information to exercise safely and effectively.

After satisfactory completion of this training the individual will; be able to use the Fitness Center at his or her own discretion, have an understanding of the benefits of a balanced exercise program that utilizes warm-ups, cool-downs, strength training, cardiovascular training, and flexibility/stretching techniques, know the basic overview of the bones and muscles of the body and be guided through proper technique, safety precautions, and benefits of body weight, machine, and free weight strength training exercises.

The Fit For Teens program is a benefit of membership, provided to our teen members at no charge.
