Studio J is a workshop series led by local artists excited to share their craft with the community. From painting to cooking to dance to photography, these hands-on arts experiences will get you moving, creating, and laughing while learning something new.

 

KINTSUGI: THE JAPANESE ART OF PRECIOUS SCARS

Kintsugi, the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery, literally translates to ‘golden repair’. In this workshop, multidisciplinary artist Sarah Routman will teach new ways of seeing broken objects and how creativity can help recognize the restorative power that lies within us all.
