AGES 9+
Life is better with a dog! Warm your heart this winter with our fuzzy friends in a safe environment that nurtures self-confidence and growth with the amazing Canine Inspired Change (CIC) volunteers and therapy dogs.

Each week the group will learn and build on different skills through agility training while practicing communication skills, independence skills and coping skills, which are all transferable to achieving our life goals. To cap off our program, all families and friends are invited to ooh and ahh over one the last week for a performance showing off the groups acquired dog training skills.

Canine Inspired Change (CIC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving vulnerable youth and adults the social-emotional tools they need to be active participants in their communities. Their work helps these remarkable young people transcend trauma, social struggles and isolation by sparking meaningful connections with dogs, volunteers—and each other.

This class is open to people with and without disabilities, ages 9+. The JCC Inclusion program will provide a 1:5 staff to participant ratio each week. PCAs and direct care professionals are asked to accompany individuals who need additional support.
