Find Your Summer!
Jewish summer camp is a place where values are taught, community is developed, and lifelong friendships and memories are made. We believe that every child should have the summer camp experience that Camp Butwin has to offer.
Our inclusion program is designated to support campers with disabilities. Whether your child needs limited support or a designated advocate, we work with families to make the appropriate accommodations in all of our camp programs. When filling out your camper application form online, please indicate if you would like to apply for the inclusion program.
After submitting your camper application form, our Inclusion and Accessibility Coordinator, will contact your family to gather further information and work with you to determine what supports are necessary to provide meaningful participation for your camper.
The core of inclusion at Camp Butwin is within our specialized group of Inclusion Facilitators. Inclusion facilitators are trained staff, matched with campers in our inclusion program to create and maintain inclusivity within each camp group. With the assistance of the Inclusion & Accessibility Coordinator, these staff members implement strategies and routines to provide the most positive camp experience for campers.
