And, our CIT (Counselor-In-Training) program offers friendship, leadership skills, and a magical summer experience. Hey, teens…find your summer at Camp Butwin!
SESSION ONE • JUNE 15 – JULY 10
SESSION TWO • JULY 13 – AUGUST 7
Make the most of your summer as a Counselor in Training (CIT) at Camp Butwin! Motivated and enthusiastic teens, entering grades 9 -10, this program is for YOU! Gain valuable leadership and employment skills, earn money, and have a lot of fun all summer long.
As a CIT, you’ll be a role model for younger campers, develop your skills as a counselor, bond with other teens, and make new friends. CITs are mentored by senior Camp Butwin staff learning how to plan and lead camp activities, the basics of child development, basic safety and First Aid, conflict resolution, and positive techniques to deal with behavior and disciplinary issues. CITs will participate in field trips, evening activities, and overnights throughout the summer.
$640 • $500 MEMBER VALUE PRICE
CITs receive a stipend of $5 for each day worked, which is sent to them via check, at the end of the summer. Each CIT will be assessed a grounds fee of $50 for four weeks or $75 for eight weeks. These funds help ensure the highest quality facilities every summer.
